Purple Jasper (with Pyrite?)

What is this cabochon! Purple Jasper? What? It looks like Pyrite dendrites, very gold and very distinctive. But they did not want to take a high polish.

40mm x 24mm x 5mm.   Weight: 36.70 carats.

Every one of my cabochons is custom cut to take the best advantage of the particular slab from which it is fashioned. Colors may vary somewhat from what is pictured due to differences in computer monitors.
